Good Jobs ● Low Taxes ● Common Sense
I’ve lived in Caldwell County, North Carolina my whole life. My parents worked here in the furniture industry. I went to school here, started businesses here, got married here, and raised a family here. This community is my life. So when we fell on really hard times, with businesses shutting down left and right, I wanted to make a difference and fight for our future. That’s why I decided to run for County Commissioner.
I have over 40 years of experience as a small business owner, including construction, retail, and meat processing. Running businesses in a variety of sectors has given me a strong understanding of this county’s good times and its tough times. I’ve experienced having to cut back, tighten the budget, and think about new ways to continue a business. I use these experiences to serve Caldwell County as a conservative, practical decision maker, even during the boom times.
I work with all of our communities to find fair and common-sense solutions to every issue, while fighting to protect every single tax dollar for the hard-working people of Caldwell County. I’ve worked to protect our county budget against wasteful spending, and I’ve looked for common-sense ways to save the citizens money. You won’t find me proposing some silly pet project!
We need to keep taxes low, absolutely no tax increases. We need to use smarter conservative budgeting to protect ourselves for the future, while also staking out Caldwell County’s place in the 21st century economy. We need to keep growing a highly-skilled workforce, including vocational training. We need to make this community not only a place where our children want to stay and live, but a place they can thrive. As a small business owner, I promise to continue to find common-sense solutions to improve the quality of life in Caldwell County, and make a better future for all of us.
You can count on me to speak my mind, tell the truth, and fight for the taxpayers, even when it’s not “politically correct.” And when I say that I’m going to do something, you can count on me to do it. I’m the same Jeff Branch at a fancy meeting, at a job site, or hanging out at the hardware store. And, I look forward to continuing the fight for the citizens of Caldwell County.
So, please vote Jeff Branch for Caldwell County Commissioner in the General Election on November 5, 2024.
